University of Delhi Recruitment for 431 Teaching Posts -Apply Online Last Date extended upto 15th April 2017

University of Delhi (DU) has released a notification at www.du.ac.in for recruitment to 431 posts of Professor and Associate Professor in various disciplines. Last date has been extended and Candidates can submit online application till 15th April 2017.

Post Details:

·         Professor - 32 Posts

·         Associate Professor - 399 Posts

Pay Scale:

·         Professor - Rs.37400 - 67000 plus AGP Rs.10000/-

·         Associate Professor - Rs.37400 - 67000 plus AGP Rs.9000/-

Educational Qualification: 

·         Professor: (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in concerned discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with  evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. (ii) Minimum 10 years experience of teaching in University or College, and/or  experience in research at the University or National level institution/ industries

·         Associate Professor: (i) Candidate must have Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned discipline. (ii) Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks. (iii) Minimum 08 years experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ industry

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. Candidate must bring all the original testimonials/ certificates along with a set of photocopy at the time of Interview.

Application Fee: Application fee charges are Rs. 2000/- for UR category. No feefor SC, ST, PWD and Women Applicants.Fee must be pay online by using Credit Card/ Debit card/ Net Banking.
